WHAT IS IT?

The eHSA acts like a bank account for a much wider range of claimable healthcare expenses compared to any traditional plan, all with 100% reimbursement and no deductibles or co-pays!

Regular monthly deposits (or once annually) are made to the account, and these contributions are then used to reimburse any eligible expense.

An Pay Direct Card is automatically included for immediate claims payment, so that you're not out-of-pocket.

All contributions are fully tax-deductible, and, if unused at the end of the year, carry forward to the second year.

The enVia HSA Program automatically includes $1 million lifetime of Excess Medical Insurance, underwritten by the Western Life Assurance Company, to provide an additional "umbrella of protection" in the event of a sudden serious illness or disease. Excess Medical Insurance can cover expensive, unanticipated claims for prescription drugs, ambulance, assistive medical devices, durable medical equipment, hospital or home nursing.


AIG SPECIAL RISK INSURANCE PROGRAM:

Provides $20,000 of Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance in Canada on a 24/7/365 basis, plus Attaché Services including Identity Theft Recovery Assistance. (Mandatory - automatically included)

WORKPLACE OPTIONS EMPLOYEE & FAMILY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM:

Provides up to 3 hours per family member of confidential telephonic counselling by professionals for life/work issues and referral for ongoing requirements anywhere in the world. (Mandatory - automatically included)

REAL-WORLD, NEEDS-RELATED OPTIONAL BENEFITS:

While the Health Spending Account and included Excess Medical Insurance cover both your everyday and unexpected healthcare expenses, for true comprehensive protection many people like to supplement their coverage with these affordable Optional Benefits:

DISABILITY  INSURANCE

Available coverage includes both Temporary and Permanent Total Disability. After a  30 or 90 day waiting period, a Weekly Disability Benefit of up to 70% of weekly  earnings up to $2,308/week ($10,000 per month) for a maximum duration of 24 months . If Permanently  Disabled after 25 or 27 months, a Lump Sum Benefit of 5X Gross Annual Earnings to a maximum of  $2,000,000 is payable

ACCIDENTAL  DEATH & DISMEMBERMENT

Participants  may purchase coverage in units of $50,000 up to a maximum of $500,000.  No health evidence is required.
